While the process itself is quite simple, there are several steps to making sure the hoodie you order comes out just the way you imagined. 1. Select your Sweater Size, Color, and Print Material
The first step in the creative process is to select your specifications. We have several options for color, size, sweater type, and printing type. To lay it out plainly:

- Direct-to-Garment: Direct-to-garment printing is available on the front, back, or both sides of your sweater depending on your selection.

2. Upload Your Artwork or Design Your Sweater Online
The GotPrint design process is relatively similar regardless of product. If you’ve created a marketing mailer, custom a-frame sign, or even designed a coffee mug with us before, some of the steps are going to sound fairly familiar.
The next step is to decide whether you are going to submit your print-ready file or design your sweatshirt online. Our Online Design Tool allows you to upload your photos and modify them until you’re satisfied with the results. Our product website also outlines what files work best with our printing process, so be sure to give it a read.
If you would prefer, you can also create your own artwork right on our website. All you have to do to design your mug on the GotPrint website is select the “Design Online” button at the end of the order form. For the best results, we recommend designing your custom image on a desktop or laptop rather than a mobile device.
3. Preview Your Sweatshirt with Our Live View
Once you’re satisfied with your design, simply click the ‘Preview’ icon in the upper right corner of the screen. From there, you may get a live preview of your design on the sweatshirt you’ve chosen to order. This is an essential time to ensure that what you’re printing is exactly what you want to see and how you want it to appear on the sweater. Take your time, and feel free to return to the Online Design Tool to adjust your work until it’s just right.
5. Log In/Sign Up and Complete Your Order
After you’ve generated your sweatshirt design, you’ll be prompted to save it to a GotPrint Account. If you don’t have an account, we recommend creating one to hurry up the ordering process. All that remains is to place your order and await the arrival of your beautiful personalized sweater!
Please allow us 4 to 5 business days to print your customized mugs. The first day of production begins the day after you accept your purchase and your money is properly processed. After we finish, shipping will take between 2 and 6 business days, depending on the shipping method you selected at checkout. If you need your custom mugs sooner, please select fast shipment.
