Kentucky, which is known as the “Bluegrass State”, is also known for horse racing, bourbon distilleries, bluegrass music, the automobile manufacturing industry, college basketball, and Kentucky Fried Chicken. It’s certainly a fun and interesting place to be, and it’s exciting for us to be able to hire more employees to join our team in Hebron, which is located close to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
With this expansion, we will be increasing the workforce over the next three years by more than 30 percent and increase our production capacity by one-third, which means new jobs, and space for new Heidelberg presses and other equipment. In the end, what this means is a lot more printing for our customers!
Construction began in September but we’ve already caught up with all the footage from our team in Kentucky. Thankfully, our general manager in Kentucky, Mike Foley, has been keeping us updated with pictures of the whole process. He assures us that although a lot of construction work will go into this expansion, the team has been working hard to ensure it all goes smoothly, so that the project can be completed by the end of the year.
With three printing facilities in the United States (Burbank, California; Grapevine, Texas; and Hebron, Kentucky), and a facility in the Netherlands, GotPrint is happy to grow and meet supply for the increasing demand for high-quality printing and affordable promotional materials. We hope that this is just the beginning of our expansion, and we will continue to grow, with the support of our customers, who help us do what we do best.
