Branding, From the Perspective of Bash Booth

We think there is something to be learned from the success of each customer. After all, each business is unique due to the multitude of factors involved that help make it successful. Consider location, time, strategy, determination, and let’s mix a little bit of luck in there too!

So it’s no surprise that when customers give us feedback on how their marketing materials and strategies have helped them with their business and their own branding, we’re all ears.

This time, we’ll hear from Sarah Jeffords, owner of Bash Booth, for her take on all of this.


My name is Sarah Jeffords and I am the owner of BASH BOOTH, a photo booth rental company located in Ruston, Louisiana (serving most of the state of Louisiana). BASH BOOTH was created out of my love for parties and photography, it seemed to be a perfect fit. I absolutely love providing a service that makes people happy and that helps them remember their BIG DAY, whether that’s their wedding, birthday, prom, etc.

You’ve heard the old adage “dress to impress,” right? As a business owner, I believe that saying doesn’t just apply to your personal appearance, it applies to your brand’s appearance as well. In the initial brainstorming process of branding my new business, I knew that I wanted creative, up-scale marketing materials. The thought of hiring a design team for my small business seemed intimidating at first, but I knew that was crucial in order to have beautiful, custom graphics. I wanted quality business cards because it is often the first impression clients will have of my business and they should feel the quality of my service from our first interaction.

I think my business cards have been especially helpful in promoting my photo booth. They are well designed and great quality which is reflective of the service that I strive to provide my clients. I have ordered several products from GotPrint (for professional and personal use) and I have always been impressed with the quality of the paper and printing. I hand out 25+ cards at every event so I am thankful for the price point of these cards – I recently ordered 1000! The quality and price of GotPrint cannot be beat!

I mostly promote BASH BOOTH through social media (Instagram and Facebook have proven to be the best fit for my service although we are active on Google+, Twitter, and Pinterest).

I worked with Spring Media to create the identity design for my company. When I discussed my ideas with Ryan Lord (Art Director at Spring Media), I told him that I wanted something up-scale but fun. I chose the name BASH (BOOTH) because of my love for parties, so I wanted the design to be fun. I also wanted the design to be something that would resonate with clients coordinating any event – not just weddings. I am thrilled with their creative interpretation of my business. I could not be happier with my decision to work with Spring Media and GotPrint on the design and printing of these cards!
