GotPrint in Texas!

Exciting things have been happening at GotPrint. First came the expansion abroad to The Netherlands, and now, a new facility in Texas. For those of you who have been anxiously awaiting details, on March 1st, we will be opening our new production facility at the Heritage Business Park in Grapevine, Texas.

The opening of our Texas facility will allow GotPrint to continue to grow throughout the United States to help meet the increased demand for our services. With facilities in California and Kentucky, the new Texas facility will allow the company to cater to customers in the Midwest, who will be able to take advantage of lower shipping costs, faster delivery, and even a pickup location!

This marks the third gotprint.com production facility in the United States, but certainly not the last. Several other production facilities are in the works. Stay tuned for more details!

  1. Hi Julian,

We are just about there. Unfortunately, I don't really have a date to give you, but we are close to being finished. We will keep you in the know once we do.

  2. Do you have a timeline of when the Grapevine location will be ready to take orders. Gotprint is my first choice for my printing needs through my graphics design company, but I've been burned the last 2 times I've ordered from GP, the time for print/shipping and I end up having to go to AlphaGraphics.

I'd love to do more work through GP, however a great deal of my clients are last minute and for anything that is time sensitive, I am unable to really rely on GP.

  3. In the future, when our Texas facility is fully operation, absolutely. However, right now, we are still not ready to take orders for Texas. We will keep you informed. Thank you for your interest!

  4. Hello,

We understand your concern – which is why we have a solution in the works. In the meantime, you may call us and ask us and we can inform you where your order will be printed. We will let you know of any new updates and changes to this system!

  5. Hi, @whyjoe and @Gotprint

This is really a serious drawback to purchasing from Gotprint, because it makes choosing shipping a roulette game.

  6. Hi @whyjoe,

If you ever have questions regarding the stocks that are printed in CA or KY, you may call us and we can assist you.

Certain paper stocks such as the 14 pt gloss with UV is printed in KY, except for the 100 quantity. In addition, Spot UV is in California. Keep in mind that we never guarantee what facility your order will be printed in. Hope this helps!

  7. Recently I placed an order with you guys for shipment to Florida, assuming it would be run in your Kentucy facility. It turns out it was produced in Los Angeles and took a couple of days extra to get to the client.

Is there a good way to tell what products you can and can't produce in your KY facility? These were business cards, but they did have spot UV.
